How to Connect Group Collector with ClickFunnels

If you want approved Facebook group members to be automatically sent into ClickFunnels, you need to connect ClickFunnels 2.0 as an autoresponder inside Group Collector.

This integration allows you to capture Facebook group leads in real time, tag them (optional), and use them inside ClickFunnels for funnels, follow-ups, email automation, and CRM workflows without manual CSV imports.

What You Need Before Starting

To complete this integration, you'll need:

Required

  • ClickFunnels 2.0 API Key
  • ClickFunnels 2.0 Workspace Subdomain

This guide will show you how to get both.

Optional

  • Tags (for organizing contacts inside ClickFunnels)

Make Sure That:

  • Your ClickFunnels 2.0 account is active
  • You have access to Team & Workspace Settings
  • Your Facebook group is connected to Group Collector
  • Membership questions are properly configured in your Facebook group

Step 1: Get API Key from ClickFunnels 2.0

The API key allows Group Collector to securely send approved group members to your ClickFunnels account.

Steps:

  • Log in to your ClickFunnels 2.0 main dashboard.
  • From the left panel menu, scroll down and click Team & Workspace (at the bottom).

  • Click on your Team Name.

  • A menu will appear; click Team Settings (the last option).

  • A new page will open.
  • From the left panel menu, click Developer Portal.

  • Click Add New Platform Application.

Create Platform Application:

  • In Application Name, enter any name (Example: Group Collector Leads)

  • Click Create Platform Application.

Get API Key:

  • In the API Access Tokens section
  • Your Token API Key will be displayed

  • Copy and save this API key securely

Important: Keep your API key private. Do not share it publicly.

Step 2: Get ClickFunnels 2.0 Subdomain

The subdomain tells Group Collector which ClickFunnels workspace to send the leads to.

Steps:

  • Return to the ClickFunnels main dashboard.
  • From the left panel menu, click Workspace Settings.

  • You will be redirected to a new page.
  • In the Edit Workspace Details section:
    • Find Workspace & Site Subdomain

  • Copy and save the subdomain

Example format:

yourworkspace

(Do not include https:// or .clickfunnels.com)

Step 3: Add ClickFunnels 2.0 as an Autoresponder in Group Collector

Now connect ClickFunnels inside Group Collector.

Steps:

  • Open the Group Collector dashboard.
  • Click Add button for the Autoresponder.
  • Select ClickFunnels 2.0 from the autoresponder list.

Step 4: Enter ClickFunnels 2.0 Credentials

After selecting ClickFunnels 2.0, enter the required details.

Required Fields:

  • API Key → Paste your ClickFunnels API Key
  • Subdomain → Paste your Workspace Subdomain

Optional:

  • Tags → Enter tags to apply to contacts (max 3). Separate multiple tags with comma.

Make sure:

  • There are no extra spaces while pasting
  • Subdomain is entered without URL format

Step 5: Verify and Save Integration

  • Click Verify & Update

  • Group Collector will validate the API key and subdomain
  • Once verified, ClickFunnels 2.0 will be successfully added as an autoresponder
