How to Connect Group Collector with Brevo
Brevo (previously Sendinblue) is a powerful email marketing and CRM platform. Integrating Brevo with Group Collector allows you to automatically sync new Facebook group members to your Brevo lists.
To complete this integration, you will need:
- Brevo API Key
- List ID from Brevo
This guide will show you how to get both.
Before starting, make sure you have:
- An active Brevo account
- A list created in Brevo
- A connected Facebook group in Group Collector
Step 1: Log in to Brevo and Access Settings
- Log in to your Brevo dashboard
-
Click on the settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner

-
Click on SMTP & API in the sidebar

Step 2: Get Your API Key from Brevo
-
Click on the API keys & MCP tab

-
Click Generate a new API key

-
Enter a name for your API key (Example: Leads) and click Generate

-
Copy the generated API Key and save it in a safe place

Important: Save your API key immediately. For security reasons, Brevo will not show it again. You will need it in the next steps.
Step 3: Get Your List ID from Brevo
- From the left sidebar, click on Lists under the Contacts section
-
Find your list and note the ID number shown in the ID column

This list will receive all subscribers coming from Group Collector. Copy the List ID without the #. Only copy the number. Save the List ID in a safe place.
Step 4: Add Brevo as an Autoresponder in Group Collector
- Log in to your Group Collector dashboard
-
Click Add button for the Autoresponder

-
Select Sendinblue/Brevo from the autoresponder list

Step 5: Enter Your Brevo Credentials
- Paste your API Key into the API Key field
-
Paste your List ID into the List Id field

- Click Verify and Update
If everything is correct, Group Collector will confirm the connection.

Final Result
Once the integration is complete:
- Approved Facebook group members are automatically added to your Brevo list
- Leads sync in real time
- Contacts are stored in your selected Brevo list
- Subscribers are ready for email campaigns and automation
- No manual CSV import is required
- Data is also stored in Google Sheets for backup and tracking
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using the wrong List ID — make sure you copy only the numeric ID
- Copying extra spaces while pasting API credentials
- Deleting the list after integration
- Revoking API access after setup
- Not testing with a sample approved member
Best Practices
- Use one API key per integration
- Test the setup with a single approved member
- Create separate lists for different campaigns
- Store API credentials securely
- Review integrations periodically to ensure they are working correctly
